Greetings, our dear community members! It has been a while since we did not present any report considering the constantly ongoing development of our project. So today we are about to share some info on what we have already accomplished in terms of Prosper development and also we will give you a peek on what’s upcoming in the near future. Hope this article will do some good for our community to understand where the project is moving. So let us begin.
Developers` report
There are basically two main directions of where the development was going in the last months. The most important one is that we have launched a new stack in the BSC network, of which we were writing earlier. Backend scalability has been improved because of our change to .Net infrastructure and the platform’s multithreading capabilities, reducing the need to manually create new instances. Through the enabling of multithreading and the reduction of overall instances needed, system deadlocks are drastically reduced or prevented. That was made basically to improve the speeds of Prosper platform, making it much more comfortable for users. And the second direction is that we have changed the model of pools being generated (four-hour pools that are opening one time in 2 hours): now the user always has an opportunity of making predictions. That turned out to bring some extra difficulties for us: a problem when nodes started to give no answer after a certain amount of time. Thus Prosper team came up with the solution with modernising software structure, creating multiple active nodes, and when some of them experienced the trouble, they were switching automatically. This solution turned out to be a stable one providing the uninterrupted work of the Prosper platform. To say more, we are planning to use this solution in other Prometeus products too, if some troubles like the one we experienced here at Prosper, will appear in some other projects we develop, but this is a topic for another huge article. As you see, changes that were made by our technical team are pretty significant and fundamental, but the credo of Prosper is to never stop, so here are the things we are aiming at right now.
Future development plans
The most noticeable and ambitious aim that we have at our dev team at the moment is launching on Tron blockchain. Right now we are doing research in order to prevent any possible bugs and glitches, so if we do not find any, we can expect Prosper to be launched on Tron soon enough. Second thing that is to be done is the support of wallet connect and trust wallet, but in this particular case we want to ask our users — what would be the best for them? Probably we will run a survey or something, so subscribe to our social networks not to miss any updates on this aim of ours. And since we have launched on the new stack, we also need to develop a mobile version on it, and that is one of our top priorities — to provide a user-friendly interface to our users. Considering the new stack, there is also one important update coming — multilanguage support, fulfilling the aim that was stated in the previous sentence. And the last, but not the least — we are to implement a new system of analytics, which is called Amplitude. It will allow us to track what users do on our platform, allowing us to improve and to optimize different processes we have in our products. That all looks pretty big and ambitious, but with your trust and support we can match even the hardest timelines and the biggest expectations.
Improvement never stops
As you can see, we are working hard to deliver the prediction market that will be the best in the whole of its industry. Our team plans to constantly upgrade Prosper’s technical capabilities, finding top tech solutions in order to make our project as user-friendly as possible. We’re very confident that through these upgrades, we can prevent issues that caused glitches in regards to pool creation, so that won’t cause any unpleasant situations anymore. These upgrades were made with our community in mind, and we think it is important to keep our community members updated on our progress. We look forward to being able to grow our platform with you, and thank you for your support.
